A Drop Brings Change is an international contact-making seminar taking place in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira, Portugal, from 14 to 19 December 2026. It will bring together 12 representatives of European youth and environmental organisations who are interested in developing international cooperation around water awareness, environmental responsibility and active citizenship.
The activity is specifically designed for people working in youth work and non-formal learning, including NGO staff members, project managers, grant writers, and decision-makers. Applicants should represent organisations with a genuine interest in developing and submitting future European project proposals, particularly under Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE or Horizon Europe.
Using non-formal learning methods, peer exchange and project-based group work, participants will:
- explore water-related environmental challenges and their connection to community life and active citizenship;
- share organisational practices and non-formal education methods;
- identify common priorities and suitable cooperation opportunities;
- develop concrete international project ideas;
- build partnerships that can continue beyond the seminar and lead to joint applications in 2027.
The programme will combine team-building, thematic discussions, exchange of practices and facilitated project development. Participants are expected to take an active role throughout the seminar and to remain involved in the follow-up of the project ideas developed.

Youth Bridges Budapest (Youth NGO)
Youth Bridges Budapest is a Hungarian foundation working with young people and youth professionals through non-formal education, international mobility and community-based initiatives. Its main areas of activity include social inclusion, environmental awareness, active citizenship, digitalisation and youth mental health. The organisation coordinates Erasmus+ projects and develops educational programmes, methods and international partnerships in the youth field.

Costs
Participation fee
There is no participation fee.
As their own contribution, participants are expected to cover the cost of local transport between their home and the departure airport, as well as transport between Madeira Airport and the venue. Flight costs will be reimbursed after the seminar, within the applicable Erasmus+ travel budget and upon submission of all required travel documents.
Accommodation and food
Accommodation and full board will be organised and provided by the organisers free of charge. This includes three meals and two coffee breaks per day, taking participants’ dietary needs into account.
Travel reimbursement
Participants’ flight costs will be reimbursed after the seminar, based on the actual documented expenses and up to the following maximum amounts per participant:
- 2,000–2,999 km: €395
- 3,000–3,999 km: €580
- 4,000–7,999 km: €1,188
The applicable distance band will be determined by the travel distance between the participant’s place of departure and the activity venue in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira.
Reimbursement will be made within a maximum of 60 days after participants have submitted all required invoices, tickets and boarding passes and completed the agreed follow-up and dissemination activities. Local transport between the participant’s home and the departure airport, as well as between Madeira Airport and the venue, must be covered by the participant as their own contribution.
