FOCUS learning - training course for trainers

Training Course

9-13 December 2025 | Jurmala, Latvia

Are you a trainer or an educator of youth workers eager to deepen your practice? Join us for a unique training course based on the FOCUS learning project (focus-learning.eu).

This training course invites trainers and educators of youth workers to:

  • Reflect on the meaning and role of learning in youth work and in their own training/teaching practice.
  • Explore the resources and tools developed within the FOCUS learning project, designed to make learning in youth work more visible and intentional.
  • Experiment with these materials and adapt them to their own training/teaching contexts and scenarios.
  • Exchange experiences with other trainers and educators, and co-create strategies to strengthen the quality of training in Europe.
  • Contribute to the further development of the FOCUS learning project.

Together, we will strengthen the quality of training for youth workers and foster a deeper understanding of learning at the heart of youth work.

About the FOCUS learning project: The FOCUS learning Project (focus-learning.eu) is a European cooperation that develops resources and practices to make learning in youth work more visible, intentional and meaningful. It supports trainers, educators and youth workers in reflecting on their role as facilitators of learning. It offers practical tools and materials that can be directly applied in training and teaching contexts, which are based on the digital publication Exploring Learning in Youth Work.

Who is this training course for?
Trainers, educators and facilitators who are active in training or teaching youth workers (at national or European level), open to reflecting on their own practice and eager to integrate new resources into their work.
