The selection is made by a team of several Lajfr members, based on the application form. We look at your motivation, how well you fit the profile, your capacity to bring what you learn back to your organisation, and whether you can take part in the full programme. We give priority to people who can develop projects in their organisation, who work with young people with fewer opportunities, and who have not had many chances to take part in international activities.
We also try to build a balanced group in terms of countries, gender and backgrounds, so the number of places per country may be limited.
Every applicant will hear back from us by 15 October 2026. Selected participants will receive a confirmation email with the next steps, including a short form for practical details such as dietary needs and travel plans.
We kindly ask you to write your application yourself. Using AI to help with language or facts is fine, but your answers should be honest and in your own words.
