Youth democracy project “INFLUENCE, don´t be influenced” is a way how to involve local community, how to show to people in 2 european regions in the Czech Republic and Spain how they can influence happening which concerns them.
The objective of the project was to recruit and train a team of young people between the ages of 17 and 25 from all over the island of Ireland who would undergo intensive media and journalism training to become the official online youth correspondents for the European Parliament elections of 2009.
Need to give young people the possibility of trying this decision making process, the feeling of taking action, making a choice, participating, getting the sense that what a person does, makes a difference.
Encourage critical analysis of politics and development of own opinion on current issues, and provide the young people with the basic knowledge to make this analysis possible
