The Long-Term Training Course (LTTC) on the theme of 'Dialogue among Civilizations', held in Greece in November 2007, aimed at building on the long-term strategy agreed between the Greek and the Cypriot National Agencies (NA) for the Youth in Action (YiA) Programme and the SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed Resource Centre, to further strengthen and expand the network of the Euro-Mediterranean Voluntary Service (EVS) projects as well as to improve the quality of such projects.

The 1st phase of this Long Term Training Course, held in Nàfplio (Naùplio) in the Peloponnese region, gathered 22 participants
(12 from 9 MEDA countries and 10 from 7 EU Member States), 3 trainers, the Coordinator of SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed, an observer from the Turkish NA for YiA oprogram, and a rapporteur.
