This course aimed at realising and concretising the links between education and civilisation and at checking whether they are a driving force or putting a brake on a qualitative development of Euro-Mediterranean voluntary service. The educational approaches and attitudes are not identical, not only on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea but also between countries of the same geographical area.
This course reflected on the influence of civilisations in educational systems and on the necessary conditions for implementing a qualitative voluntary service project (Action 2) in the frame of a Euro-Mediterranean co-operation.

- Examples of projects: Intercultural learning (Action 1), EVS (4 organisations are interested in hosting on project as drug addiction, cultural diversity, outdoor activities in a youth centre and short term with handicapped people EVS), (3 organisations are interested in sending). 18 people met their partners during this TC.
