The SALTO Awards 2021 were co-organised by SALTO Participation & Information RC and SALTO European Solidarity Corps RC.

Congratulations to the 148 projects from 38 different countries that were nominated for the SALTO Awards 2021!

Environment & Climate Action: 

• Winner: Green Steps, PORTUGAL

• Nominated projects: 5 Minutes Climate Chance (AUSTRIA, GERMANY, UNITED KINGDOM), Festival of Sustainability (UNITED KINGDOM), Radkino Tirol (AUSTRIA), Youth for Action and Sustainability - YAS! (CYPRUS)

Digital Transformation:

• Winner: Reimagining Recognition (MOLDOVA, UKRAINE, GEORGIA, ARMENIA, LITHUANIA, FINLAND, IRELAND)

• Nominated projects: VIP and new technologies: easy access to job market (BELGIUM, ITALY, SPAIN), Digital Transformation for Civic Engagement (ESTONIA), Group therapy as a path to solidarity (SLOVENIA), ARTsee (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, GREECE)

Media and Information Literacy:

• Winner: DigiYouth (ARMENIA)

• Nominated projects: IN-EDU (ITALY, BULGARIA, CROATIA, SLOVENIA, FRANCE), FAKE OFF (AUSTRIA, PORTUGAL, SPAIN, ITALY, GERMANY), Co-Creating Media Literate Youth (CYPRUS), Medijpratējs (LATVIA)

Solidarity & Volunteering

• Winner: For the Active Life of Deaf Seniors (ITALY)

• Nominated projects: Solidarity in Primorska (SLOVENIA), I'm possible (LITHUANIA), Aufdrehen gegen Gewalt (AUSTRIA), Friend for life (LITHUANIA)

Youth Participation

• Winner: Safer Cities For Girls (BELGIUM, SPAIN)

• Nominated projects: Start (GEORGIA), No filter (CROATIA), Disabled Free Festival (TURKEY), St nam tesko (SERBIA)
