Statistics 2004

• SALTO-YOUTH organised and coordinated no less than 40 courses and seminars in 2004 - plus involvement in appr. 80 other meetings, working groups etc. - thus reaching well over 2000 participants/colleagues/beneficiaries with its SALTO work.
• 179.706 unique visitors (good for 274.051 visits/sessions) to the www.SALTO-YOUTH.net website in 2004. That's an average of 750 visits/day and an average of 10 minutes per visit. These visitors viewed all together 3.107.160 pages in 2004. This is an average of 11 pages per visit or 8513 SALTO pageviews/day.
• 167 training opportunities are listed in the European Training Calendar and 15.500 visits to the training calendar in 2004 doing a total of 62.791 training searches (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-training/).
• The total of tools, methods and background texts in the Toolbox for Training came to 332 at the end of 2004 (189 in 2003) and the toolbox saw 10.100 visits in 2004 carrying out in total 36.144 tool searches (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-tool/).
• There were 183 trainers online in the Trainers Online for Youthdatabase at the end of 2004 (100 in 2003) and TOY had 8210 visits in 2004 totalling 31.345 trainer searches (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-trainer/) (35.000 in 2003). SALTO sent out 34 calls for trainers to TOY for appr. 85 trainers positions in 2004.
• The information via the SALTO Newsletters reaches over 6500 readers and new issues of the Meet'In EuroMed, Youth in Action or SeeYOUth magazines.
• publications such as the Evaluation CD-rom, the Inclusion Booklets, an upcoming Youth Initiatives Coaching Guide, the EuroMed Training Bag, International Cooperation Kit for Eastern Europe & Caucasus, etc
• interesting initiatives such as the Diversity Image Competition, the development of a EuroMed Training Pass, championing a Strategy for Youth in South-East Europe, Bridges for Recognition (soon to come) etc
• useful content for our visitors online like the 75.935 successfully downloaded files from the SALTO site in 2004
• and much much more to support you in your youth work !
