SALTO Training Courses and Seminars in 2009An overview of the different courses coming up in 2009 Participants at work Where is the ball?- In 2009, the SALTO Training and Cooperation Resource Centre co-ordinates on behalf of the Youth in Action NAs a variety of so called NA Network Training Courses for different target groups of the YiA Programme,such as trainers, multipliers, youth workers and mentors.
- In 2008 the SALTO Inclusion Resource Centre will organise 2 youth worker Training courses:
*TC E.M.power" on how to use the European Youth in Action programme as a tool in a pathway to emancipate & empower Ethnic Minority young women (May 2008, in the United Kingdom) *TC Image Building & Inclusion" - how to work on positive image building for disadvantaged groups (October 2008, in cooperation with the Hungarian NA) *For the Youth in Action National Agencies SALTO Inclusion will organise "Intervision for NA Inclusion Officers" - small working meetings of Inclusion Officers of National Agencies discussing inclusion issues, sharing ideas and experiences - The SALTO Cultural Diversity Resource Centre will be disseminating publications on the following in 2007: Quality in CD Projects: Sharing best practise of Cultural Diversity projects (exchanges, youth initatives, volunteering etc), Quality in CD Training: Sharing best practise of Cultural Diversity training and creating a new CD network course, Faith & Dialogue training, 2008 will see the start of Intercultural Dialogue activities.
- SALTO Youth Inititiatives becomes SALTO Participation in 2007: as for Youth Inititiaves we will carry on the Get in Net Training Courses (4 modules in 2007); with regards to new activities, we will mainly focus on the development of the Youth Democracy Project sub action( 1.3) with new seminars and training courses. - SALTO South East Europe will organise Contact Points evaluation and training course and Youth Policy in South East Europe in cooperation with Partnership in September; Training Course on project development with SEE on YiA priorities in November.
- In 2009 SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus organise and co-organize 2 Training Courses (on EVS: "EastWestEVS" and Youth Exchanges: "Eastern Express"), 2 Study Visits (to Belarus and Austria&Belgium), a youth policy seminar and annual EECA multipliers meeting as well as 2 SOHO activities, long term Training of Trainers, 4th ToolFair event and next "Let's..." activity, this year "Let's evaluate with our Neighbours". - According to the requests of National Agencies, the Commission and the current issues, SALTO-YOUTH EuroMed has planned 9activities for the Year 2009: 5 Training courses (uncluding 2 Long Term Training Courses), 3 Seminars, and the 4th edition of the TOOL FAIR. More information and apply on line.

see more here: www.salto-youth.net/prevactivities EVS and Pre-Accession Countries Project Management and Capacity Building Youth PassYouthpass- Training Course for multipliers and users: From 6th to 10th of December 2006, a Training Course on Youthpass and recognition and validation of non-formal learning took place in Vienna/Austria. At the TC, participants had time to discuss, adapt, and develop current approaches, political questions, and European concepts. Further Youthpass training courses are planned for 2009 and will be published in the European Training Calendar in good time. The reports of these SALTO training courses are available in the SALTO toolbox
