Country profilesSALTO SEE has issued a series of Country Profiles about the following countries in South East Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, UNMIK Kosovo, FYRO Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The Contact Points in South East Europe contributed to the SALTO-YOUTH SEE RC’s work by writing a country profile. The aim of these Country Profiles is to provide youth workers with information about the situation of young people in the respective countries. To achieve this, SALTO SEE asked experienced youth workers from each of the countries to write the content for the profiles. The profiles include general information about the countries, as well as more specific information about young people, youth organisations, youth work and youth policy in each of the countries. SALTO SEE will not accept any responsibility for the content of the profiles. Should any information prove incorrect or outdated, please direct comments to SALTO SEE. These will then be taken into account in future editions of the Country Profiles.
