Aims of the tool
The aim of this tool is to support young people in acquiring and developing the ability to identify, express, interpret and reflect upon their own feelings and needs. It has equipped educators, trainers and youth workers with an innovative and complementary to other methods tool which enables them to reach everyone, especially youth with problems with self-expression and self-reflection in the field of emotions
Description of the tool
Cards of feelings and needs is the collection of 256 cards illustrating feelings and needs with the introductory movie, research report and the manual. We offer the tool which may reach all young people, as each painting style is a different language of communication. The cards may be used to work in various contexts and with different topics, both with groups and induviduals. They may be used as a main topic in a session or used as introduction, evaluation or other training course element. We invite you to our page where you may watch the introductory movie, read the manual (with several tested ideas how to use the cards) research report (which also inculdes some ideas for the methods connected with visual expression of feelings and needs) as well as to see and download our cards under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence: https://cardsoffeelings.wixsite.com/cards.
