Asociación para la Participación, Oportunidad y Desarrollo works in training, education and development of the 3rd sector, mainly the one that addresses youth, at different levels.

a) Ground Level: At regional level we are working in the development of young people for a better integration in the labor market, but also for personal development through cultural projects that support the closeness between the youth and different art forms - theater, music, street animation, etc. In this sense we are in the process of establishing a center for non-formal education in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, with activities for children and youth from single-parent families, with economic problems, drug addiction, and various other social problems.
For the self-sustainability of the center and the Association we are in the process of defining the business plan of a social enterprise that will guarantee the funds necessary for the center’s activities.
b) Consulting Level: through a collaboration with a social Spanish company, that offers to NGOs an integrated management service for infrastructure project in undeveloped countries, our specialists in marketing and fundraising are consulting them in the area of fundraising for the projects.
c) Intellectual Level: we are applying for adult education and youth projects in local and international levels, like Erasmus +. In this level youth and adults volunteers became more experienced with projects especially about sharing best practices between project partners. This is a kind of platform for our volunteers to develop competences useful in preparing activities for ground level and sharing experience in the consulting one.
d) Informative Level: We prepare seminars, conferences, panels and handbooks for local people, social worker, teacher, volunteers who want to obtain more information about new tools and methods that can help improve their work.
We are now in the process of implementing projects financed through the Erasmus+ Program on different topics of interest for young people and youth workers.
