As far as I understand...

As one instrument for supporting the development of quality in the training strategies of the National Agencies for Youth in Action, the SALTO Training and Co-operation RC co-ordinates and develops the so-called NA Network Training Courses.

On an annual basis, roughly 600 youth workers are trained in more than 25 courses. SALTO co-operates with ca. 30 European trainers and several host National Agencies in implementing the courses. The training courses are financed by the Training and Co-operation Plans budget of the NAs; the NAs recruit and select the participants at a national level.

All training courses being implemented after the annual meeting of the trainers pools for the different TCs in October 2006 will offer information and support in the new Youth in Action programme (2007-2013). Find below a NEW BROCHURE, giving an overview on the different courses and on the results achieved.

In particular (for further information, please click on the titles), there are the short-term training courses:

  • BiTriMulti (BTM) - to support beginners in Action 1.1 - Youth Exchanges
  • SOHO - to support mentors working in Action 2 - European Voluntary Service
  • TicTac - to support quality in Action 4.3 - Training and Networking
  • European Citizenship training course - to support participants' understanding of the concept of European Citizenship
  • Appetiser - to support newcomers to international youth work

and the long-term training courses:
