Feel a bit the spirit of GIN here
This training course aims to develop high quality Networking projects, after which you are expected to implement a Transnational youth initiative which could be co-financed by the "Youth in Action" European programme.
During the training course you will:
The programme includes several aspects of transnational youth initiative project management:
*** Networking and partnership. Throughout the team building you will find a forum for presenting ideas, sharing previous experiences, finding suggestions for working in an international team and preparing your action plans for future activities. You will sense your intercultural awareness growing.
*** Project management. To clarify networking management concepts: active and balanced involvement of all partner organisations; the project "step by step" incl. defining the project idea (aims, objectives, methodology, planning, timing...), implementing the project (fundraising, managing resources, ongoing monitoring...), evaluating the project (acknowledgement of learning experience and outcomes, final report, follow-up...). Risk assessment, communication, crisis management. Support for filling in application forms
*** Develop your knowledge of the European "Youth in Action" programme 2007-2013. We will provide information about the "Youth in Action" programme, especially Action 1.2; we will give you concrete examples of what a networking project is and what it is not.
*** Follow-up. After this training course you should be able to transform your ideas into actions and follow up the project and the partnership you have created. Any suggestions for improving this course will be welcome.
The course will be based on the principles and practices of non-formal education, taking into account the needs, motivations and experiences of participants. A diversity of working methods will be used for learning about transnational youth initiative project management and the approaches for efficient teamwork. The previous experience of participants in developing local projects will be the starting point of the programme and of the learning process. Participants will be actively supported to work on concrete transnational projects as well as to transfer what they learn during the course to the OTHER young people in their respective groups.
Every GET IN NET focuses on a specific theme, for example art and culture, youth information, sport, new technologies, media and communication, social inclusion, environment, local heritage protection, development of rural or/and urban areas, and lots more.
