Since 1996, when the EVS Programme starts, 4 volunteers died, and a number of others have encountered very grave difficulties (drug or alcohol addiction, harassment...)
This alone justified the creation of a working group on crisis, in order to reflect on two issues :

A depth study on crisis prevention and management and a reflection on 4 basic pilars when organising a EVS project: AWARENESS, TRAINING, QUALITY PROJECTS, MONITORING.
