Description of the tool

1/”Model of the Super Citizen”: trainers select up to 4 participants to be models. They can not speak, only they can move when they will be asked to move. They should decorate the “models” with the competencies of “Super Citizen” as fashion designers. – 45 min. (task explanation – 10 min., exercise itself 35 min.)
2/Groups present their ‘Super Citizens’ and the competences of the ‘Super Citizens’. – 45 min.
3/After the presentations, the “Models” can speak! They should answer for this question: “How did you feel during the exercise?”. Debriefing on exclusion – inclusion. – 15 min.
Afterwards the “Models” will take over the role of facilitators to discuss the question: How to guarantee “inclusion” in youth work? 30 min.
Presentation of concrete steps: 30 min.

Comments

  • Interesting. We have been using the exercise to draw an idal person. Having volunteers is more effective, especially when they on the end express their feelings and facilitate discussion
