Escape Box Handbooks:
Interactive tools designed to teach media literacy through engaging puzzles. These escape boxes help participants explore the impact of misinformation and develop critical thinking skills in a fun, hands-on way.
The escape box tool aims to promote media literacy by engaging participants in solving puzzles that highlight the dangers of misinformation. It encourages critical thinking, enhances awareness of AI's role in spreading fake news, and fosters teamwork and problem-solving skills in an interactive and educational setting.
Our escape box tool consists of two distinct handbooks, each offering an interactive learning experience designed to teach media literacy in an engaging and hands-on way. Participants solve puzzles based on real-world challenges related to misinformation, fake news, and AI's role in media. Each handbook provides a unique scenario and set of puzzles, offering diverse approaches to learning.
Learning Outcomes:
- Media literacy. Understand how to critically evaluate information, recognize fake news, and navigate media responsibly.
- Critical thinking. Develop logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through challenging puzzles.
- Collaboration. Foster teamwork and communication by working together to solve the escape box.
- AI Awareness. Learn about the impact of AI in spreading and preventing misinformation.
Both handbooks provide flexible tools for educators, youth leaders, or anyone looking to raise awareness of media literacy in a fun and immersive way.
