Find out formal and qualitative criteria to apply for networking projects

Description of the tool

Simulation game where 6 different groups will play different roles as actors in the YOUTH programme:

- 3 groups play the role of young people applying for a networking project in Action 3
- 3 groups play the role of National Agency representatives (participants who have experience in networking projects, if any) + Action 3 officers (if any)
- 3 more people will play the role of European Commission (trainer’s team)

The groups of young people applying for networking receive an example of a concrete networking project “a social and sport project” – see below. They were told that there are some mistakes in the example of networking, in terms of "formal criteria". Their task for the next 15 min will be to find the mistakes and write them in the sheet “main points to be checked” – see below. (For this task they can use the User’s Guide of the YOUTH programme to check right information).
During this time the groups of National Agencies’ representatives will accomplish the same task, to find out and correct mistakes on the project example.
Then potential applicants will have a meeting with the National Agency and Commission representatives to discuss about their project.

Other form during the second training:
1/ Each person receive the study case and have to check the formal criterias
2/ In small groups, they have to share, check in the user’s guide and take a collective decision. During this time, they can send maximum 2 emails to NA’s (represented by the team) if they have doubts
3/ Plenary session at the end to check and comments
