The booklet was created in the framework of the Plural Perspectives Training Course, implemented in Bucharest from 4th to 12th March 2024. The booklet includes information about raise awareness campaigns to fight against hate speech and discrimination.

Aims of the tool

The booklet aims to provide information about how to recognise hate speech and how to build a raise awareness campaign against hate speech and discrimination according to the No Hate Speech Movement campaign.

Description of the tool

By using this tool, youth workers can identify hate speech when it occurs and find ways to fight it. The booklet contains the guidelines from the UN Rabat Plan to recognize and analyse hate speech and the guidelines to implement raise awareness campaigns on this topic with some practical examples from the project. Moreover, it includes official definitions of stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination and persecution.
