Manual on Creation of Educational Escape Rooms
This manual contains information one needs to create an escape room for educational purposes. There are also 3 examples of toolboxes based on educational rooms that were made in real life.
Aims of the tool
The aim of the tool is to provide youth workers, NGO members and any educators with the information needed to create their own educational escape rooms.
We covered 11 main topics and also included links to video explanation with more details.
Description of the tool
Logos NGO has 4 years of experience in delivering training courses on the topic of escape rooms and we are eager to share our experience here.
This manual was made during the implementation of the international project “Escape to diversity” which was supported by the Visegrad Fund. The training course within the project was implemented in Poltava, Ukraine and was organized by the Logos NGO.
We created this manual for anyone who wants to use escape rooms for educational purposes. At our training course, we educated 20 youth workers on how to build escape rooms for education. As a result, they created 3 escape rooms on such topics as ethnic, religious and gender/sexual minorities. You will be able to find information on those rooms in this manual as well.
