A thematic Institute that provides education in 3 faculties namely Science, Engineering and Architecture and in interdisciplinary programs. IYTE cooperates with international universities, research institutions and companies to provide multi directional approach to education. Courses in all programs are offered in English, which make it unique in the Aegean Region and Attractive for international students and scholars. Our university hosts many outstanding laureate academics and, international and national students and, experts. Academics who are leaders and coordinators of engineering and scientific projects, interdisciplinary studies and experts who have master and doctorate degrees and, which are experienced about EU projects, EU studies and Erasmus+. Our academics published master and doctorate thesis and articles through their study and research experiences at foreign universities.In accordance with the Institute’s mision to be leading the way in production, to develop the knowledge by research and in this way, to contribute to science internationally, the Technology Development Zone is active with nearly 100 firms within the campus. The office of International Relations aims to get our Institute to be involved in all programs by giving opportunities to make bilateral and multirateral cooperations in the international platforms especially under the Erasmus+ field. The Diploma Supplement and ECTS of our institute was awarded with “Diploma Supplement Label (DSL) and ECTS Label in 2010 by the European Commission. Thanks to DSL, our University became one of the 11 universities in Turkey having the same status. Plenty of research projects supported by European Union (EU), DPT (State Planning Organization), TUBITAK and IZTECH Commission of Scientific Research have been run.
