Influence Don't be influenced

Project involves different target groups as children, young people, local community and youth policy stakeholders. Project is focused on dialogues at different levels and among different actors of youth policy, local, regional, national and european policies and also intercultural dialogue.

Main aim of the project is creation of the “Manual of the citizen” (pocket booklet which can have everyone in the pocket for daily use) which will be the outcome of cooperation of all involved partners, mutual learning and sharing of experience, possibilities and potential partnership and future sustainable dialogue.

Main issues are: realization/appreciation of the citizenship, what citizenship means, understanding of the flow from policy at local level to policy at European level, influence at local level and implementation of the principles od representatives democracy an civil society which should be influenced by us!

Context

We realised that in our environment usually people are complaining a lot but most of the time they have lack of information, they do not have idea who is responsible for what and some situation or issues could be solved. It could be things meeting us in daily life. There is obviously very low education background already from childhood and later on adult do not feel any connection, any rights and duties to the society. This experience from our parents, peers and impression from our local community leads us to implement this project.

Main aim

• Activite the participation, involvement and influence at local level with the awareness of different policy levels to the European and back to local.
• Develop the dialogue among different target group on active involvement, active particiaption and influence the policy, have a space to influence and based on analysis and dialogue to define thencreate “Manual of the citizen” which will be pocket manual for everybody .

Objectives

1. Support the increasement of the youth participation in Vysocina region and Communidad Valenciana
2. Create and open the space for dialogue with yout policy stakeholders, policy-makers, experts and young people on active particiaption, involvement and influence
3. Promote the representative democracy as a concept which allow everybody to influence and be active in contribution in the local commnity and in this way to create and influence the living environment and condtition for daily life
4. Create “Pocket manual of citizen” as a step by step guide of process of influence with useful contact, references, rigth and duties showing the flow from lcoal to Euroepamn level and back
5. Intercultural exchange and sharing, cooperation and synergy in learning and implementation youth democracy project in 2 European countries
6. Nonformal learning – gaining and developing of the competences – dealing with authorities, motivation of peers, elaboration of the outcomes for further dissemination and exploitation

Working methods are based on the concept of nonformal learning

• combination of brainstorming, discussion, creative elaboration of the topic, presentation
• round tables
• international meeting 1: getting to know each other, analyse communities and regions, creation of the action plan and planning in general, responsibilities and roles, exchange of strucutres of particiaption and policy (local, regional), teambuidling, workshop within local community to attract young people, simulation of the  innovation in understanding -  of the advertisement in creative way using different multimedia
• round tables and workshops – going to higher levels from the local one and getting the feedback and check the reached outcomes
• international meeeting 2: reflection of the flow and work done, debate with representatives of the local autorities and regional authority, presentation of the outcomes, summary, reflection of process and outcome, development of the layout and content of the pocket manual of the citizen
