PAVE your way! Peace and Volunteering in Europe
The United Network of Young Peacebuilders is pleased to invite you to apply for participation in our Study Session PAVE the way! Peacebuilding and Volunteering in Europe in Budapest (Hungary).
The purpose of the study session is to exchange ideas, expertise and approaches on volunteering for peace among youth peacebuilding organisations. The outcome of the study session will assist youth NGOs in UNOY Peacebuilders’ network in improving their work and ensuring that the volunteer projects and process are contributing to peace and enforcing a culture of peace.
We are looking for 30 people who:
- age between 21-30,
- are already involved and active in youth work on a local, national or international level to participate in the study session.
- reside in a member state of the Council of Europe
Priority will be given to participants who
- have experience in the fields of: youth work, peace building, conflict transformation, social work, inter-cultural learning and / or cultural diversity
- have some experience in (peacebuilding) volunteering
- are currently active in an organisation, program or project in the above fields
- have experience with working in conflict and post-conflict areas and situations
- are committed to multiply the outcomes of the study session in their own work
