23-27 October 2011 | Ohrid, Hotel Belvedere, Republic of North Macedonia

The German and Austrian National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme are offering, in collaboration with SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre, a methodological training for (potential) applicants of YiA projects on the subject of Europe.
Aim of the training course: To give youth workers tools to work on the dimension of Europe with young people, and to enable them to use methods by which they can make young people attracted to the topic. To raise the quality and quantity of Youth in Action applications with focus on Europe and on European Citizenship. Objectives: - To raise awareness about the topic and motivate youth workers to deal with it - To enhance participants’ feeling of ownership and belonging to Europe, and discuss what role young people can play in Europe - Share knowledge about the EU and its institutions, generally about Europe and discuss current political and social issues that may concern young people (e.g. mobility, participation and national/European identity) - To let participants learn about different tools and methods, and adapt them to the needs of their target group

Costs

Hosting costs will be covered by the German and Austrian NA’s. In case you are selected, the sending costs for participants will (partly) be reimbursed by the sending NAs depending on the national regulations. Please check the financial conditions with your sending National Agency. Travel costs of participants from South Easte Europe will be reimbursed by SALTO SEE.
