Body language 4 inclusion

Objectives
By participating in this project young participants will be able to:

1. Build a critical opinion regarding social exclusion
1.1. Identify several social exclusion axis such as gender, racialisation, communicative issues...
1.2. Know the uses of theatre as a tool to favor social anchorage of those with fewer opportunities
1.3. Observe and redefine own’s role in exclusion processes to develop a critical response

2. Overcome communicative barriers through creation on non verbal communicative strategies
2.1. Empower own’s body as a basic communicative asset
2.2. Experience and hence understand language related difficulties
2.3. Design different proposals to overcome communicative barriers

3. Acknowledge the importance of the emotional dimension i collective living
3.1. Embrace body power in sharing emotions
3.2. Identify and express own’s emotions
3.3. Develop the ability to create positive emotions in other people

Dates:
The youth exchange will take place between the 3th and the 10th of July plus a travelling day on the 2nd and an other one on the 11th, July.

Partner associations’ profile:
While there are no specific requirements related to country participation, we would rather create parterships with companies like:
• Artistic companies. Theatre and dance will be a key aspect while working on communication issues. So any company focuses its work into dance, theatre or education through these arts
• Inclusive associations. Any work that works daily to achieve inclusion in all of its forms will be welcome. Specially if it works with young people with some comunicative barriers or deaf people.
• Non formal education. Any association specialized in out door non formal education. Even scenic arts are important in this youth exchange, being able to make the participants reflect and come to conclusions about what they are working on is a very valuable trait in this project.

In order to apply for becoming our partner in this youth exchange, we would like to kindly ask you answer in 5 lines the following two questions (which we will include in the project proposal to be submitted):
1. How your organization will contribute to the youth exchange (that is, activities that you will lead).
2. How participants from your country will be able to spread the knowledge from the project in the local community.
