The principal actions of Tandem are described as below:
-Family Educational Community Management
-Youth and adult Vocational Training
-Assistance for both children and student with disability
-Social relation development between non-profit organizations, public service sector and different stakeholders
-Home care services for elderly and the disabled person
Tandem is dedicated to help and support youth growth. In order to create social support to youth and children who needs help Tandem works closely with many youth organizations, Schools, NGO’s, volunteers as well as public organizations that are involved in youth issues. Tandem has experiences in dealing with youth problems by organizing training courses such as Youth Growth , Youth Team Working, Parenthood Support, Pet Therapy for children and social care for young people with disability. In addition Tandem organize training course such as social care for elder people. This type of training courses are often undertake at schools, educational communities and senior care homes.
Tandem is affiliated with an association called “Acli di Benevento” to promote volunteers for social work among young people. Working closely with the Acli and other organizations, Tandem try to solve the problem of youth unemployment and youth social exclusion. Tandem is also working with young immigrants assisting them find a job and supporting them in the process of social integration.
During the last five years Tandem has helped some Family Education Communities by offering psychological and social assistance for children and their families. Furthermore Tandem has experiences in training for social workers and child educator, accounting, establish work relationship with schools and community nearby.
