Association for Developing Alternative tourism - KORITEN

“Association for Developing Alternative Tourism – KORITEN” was created in November 2008 in Mezdra, Bulgaria, as a non-profit and non-government organization carrying out activities of private and social interest. The Association’s subject of activity is: to represent its members to state and municipal authorities inside the country and abroad, co-operation in programs for organizing, preparation and qualification of its members; management of projects of national and international participation; organizing fairs, symposia, bazaar, expositions, formal and business meetings, conference, forums and other forms of presenting its activities; submit information in connection with propaganda of the mountain, echo, rural and other kinds of non-traditional tourism as an alternative form of recreation; participation in special committees to work out, strengthen positions and apply the standards of vocational qualification in the fields of tourism; as well as practicing sports in open nature; creation, improvement and maintenance of base infrastructure for safety purposes of the tourist routes.
