Active Citizens of Mediterranean

"Active Citizens of Mediterranean" organisation is established in Thessaloniki and it is working nationally as well as internationally.

Our main mission is in the building of more tolerant, understanding and accepting society in Greece and Mediterranean area. We focus preliminary on the topics of intercultural interreligious dialogue, tolerance and diversity, minority rights and participation of young people.

The main aim are:

1. Improving the quality of life of citizens.

2. informing and properly informing him / her and activating for his / her rights.

3. developing environmental awareness and taking initiatives to protect the natural environment from all kinds of interventions.

4. promoting activities related to the protection of local culture and local tradition.

5. the elevation of the social cultural and spiritual level of the members and inhabitants of our wider region and of the entire Mediterranean.

6. developing friendship, solidarity and creative cooperation ties for common goals.

7. promoting youth development in Greece and to foster active participation of citizens in civil society

8. promoting mutual understanding, cooperation, the cultivation of communication and solidarity relations among members of the Association and the exchange of experience between members and between them and other associations, organizations at European, national and local levels.
