30 April - 5 May 2013 | Blackpool, UK. Host stays: participants will lodge with youth workers from Blackpool, United Kingdom
Training course to facilitate the process of communication in English between youth workers and to establish contacts for further youth exchanges.
The trainer will work in an interactive way to develop confidence and skills.
You are a youth worker or you have experience working directly with working young people
You wish to make a youth exchange within the framework of the EC YOUTH in ACTION programme.
You have basic knowledge of English but your level and/or a lack of practice
. stop you making the first move to establish contacts with potential partners abroad
. make it difficult to present your association/group, to state what you want in a clear way or to negotiate a programme with your partner
In other words, you need :
. a confidence boost
. tools to communicate as much as you can with what you know in English
. opportunities to practise your English in the specific context of youth exchanges
The BIJ (Bureau International Jeunesse) National Agency the French speaking Community of Belgium, is organising a training course to facilitate the process of communication in English between youth workers and to establish contacts for further youth exchanges.
The trainer will work in an interactive way with the participants to develop confidence and skills using variety of activities linked to youth exchanges.
Information about training activities reaches SALTO from the most
different directions. SALTO cannot be held responsible for incorrect information or changes

training activities themselves for the latest information.
Before applying please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. NB! Learn about possible participation fee and other relevant rules.
Costs
Travel and visa costs of selected participants will be covered by the sending National Agencies. Please check with your National Agency if they would support these costs and if any additional participation conditions apply.
Hosting costs (accommodation, food, programme activities, local transport) will be covered by the BIJ (hosting National Agency).
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
