Partnership-building Activity

Contact making seminar with training elements aims to develop participants competencies for initiation of international youth non-formal education projects through sports, in the frame of Youth in Action programme.
Am I a right person to participate in this partnership building activity? • I am 18 years old or older; • I do work directly with young people on daily basis; • I work with / i’m interested in working with young people using sports (I am a coacher, sports teacher, youth worker working through sports and ect.); • I want to reflect and share on my working practices on using sports as a tool for non-formal education of young people; • I am interested in building new international partnerships for carrying out projects through sports; • I feel confident to express myself in English; • I am motivated to develop my competencies in using sports as a method of youth non-formal education; • I am interested in Youth in Action programme as a tool for working with young people by using sports; • I am committed to attend the full duration of the seminar Objectives • To build international partnerships for carrying out future youth non-formal education projects through sports, in the frame of YiA programme. • To strengthen competencies needed for efficient international cooperation. • To explore principles and approaches of youth non-formal education. • To gain a greater understanding of sports as a tool for youth non-formal education. • To share various practices of using sports. Trainers: the programme of contact making seminar will shape two experienced trainers in non-formal education. Moreover, they implemented long term process on working with sport coachers by making non-formal education.

Costs

- Hosting (accomodation and food) and programme costs are covered by Lithuanian National Agency - Travel costs of the pax from Programme countries can be covered by the sending National Agency (before applying, please check near your NA if they accept to cover these costs) - Travel and visa costs for pax from EECA region will be covered by the Lithuanian National Agency.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
