Partnership-building Activity

Are you involved in youth work? Did you hear about Eastern Partnership Youth Window? Are you ready to open this "window" for your organisation? If the answers are YES, then the Contact Making Seminar "Tbilisi Takeoff' is for YOU!!!
Aims of the seminar: (1) To enhance the cooperation between organisations within the Action 2 - European Voluntary Service and Action 3.1 - Cooperation with the Neighbouring Partner Countries of the Youth in Action Programme between five Programme Countries (i.e., Austria, Germany, Ireland, Norway and Slovenia) and six Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine); (2) To promote new opportunities for international youth cooperation within Eastern Partnership Youth Window; (3) To develop new project on inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities living in rural or deprived urban areas; Objectives (1) Bringing together people working with young people in order to create new project ideas within the Youth in Action Programme; (2) Creating an atmosphere of common understanding between people representing different cultures, working styles, etc.; (3) Providing knowledge about the possibilities of cooperation within the Youth in Action Programme with special focus on Eastern Partnership Youth Window; (4) Presenting examples of efficient and successful cooperation within Eastern Europe and the Caucasus; (5) Building new partnerships between Programme countries and partners from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus with a clear commitment to provide support to young people with fewer opportunities living in rural or deprived urban areas; Participants CMS "Tbilisi Takeoff" will bring together 40 voluntary and professional youth workers from Austria, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Slovenia and Eastern Partership countiries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine): youth leaders and project coordinators working directly with youngsters, who are interested in setting up YiA projects for young people from rural or deprived urban areas. Participants profile: * Active youth worker; * Have motivation to develop new projects within Action 2 - European Voluntary Service and Action 3.1 - Cooperation with the Neighbouring Partner Countries under the Youth in Action Programme for young people from rural or deprived urban areas * Be entitled to initiate projects on behalf of their organisation * Available to actively attend the full duration of the course * Able to communicate in English, the working language of the seminar More information about the seminar is available at http://www.salto-youth.net/rc/eeca/activitieseeca/tblstakeoff/

Costs

(1) The board and lodging during the training course for all participants will be provided by organisers, (2) Travel costs of participants from Eastern Europe and Caucasus will be covered by organisers on the basis of original tickets and invoices, (3) Travel costs of participants from Programme Countries will be paid by relevant National Agency on its own principles.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
