This project is a training course that aims to give tools to young people to facilitate and work in the socio-educational sector. Eligible countries: Serbia, Albania, UK, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Lithuania.
This project is a training course that aims to give tools to young people to facilitate and work in the socio-educational sector. The training has been based upon the experiences from previous projects and is the result of an Evaluation meeting implemented in Ommen (The Netherlands) in December 2012 funded through the YiA programme. The project will be implemented in London and it aims to target young people to contribute to develop their capabilities of workers in the civil society organisations or in the youth field. Participants will have the experience or the interest in working with young people from disadvantaged background (unemployed, marginalised etc.), they will be 23 with an interest in creative tools (arts, theatre etc.). The countries involved will be: Serbia, Albania, UK, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Lithuania. Non-formal education, theatre, team building, simulations, debates, working groups, evaluation session and performance will be the main methods used to deliver the programme. Another aim of the project is to broaden in INCA's projects participation to Neighboring countries. The activities will introduce artists, youth workers, social entrepreneurs and trainers that would like to begin or develop their professional career to the use of theatre as a tool of intervention. The programme will include: working groups, simulations, debates, theatre and non-formal education exercises to promote social inclusion. The project will be hosted in London for 8 days. The project is open to anybody that would like to strengthen their skills using specific Tools in their own context. age range: 18-35 years old

INCA is a network of international organizations working in the field of arts and in the socio-educational sector. INCA develops its activities around two main points:
- The organization and management of meetings and trainings targeting young people, aimed at widening and deepening the tools of intercultural communication in their possession (training courses, theatrical workshops, art activities, multimedia, etc.)
- The reflection upon the integrated social-economic development, the cultural ransom, the struggle to fight exclusion, and the defence of human dignity.

Currently (2013) the INCA network includes 6 associations: INCA Italy (Benevento/Rome), INCA Catalonia (Barcelona), INCA (London), INCA Germany (Berlin), INCA Lithuania (Kaunas), INCA Switzerland (Zurich) and more than 50 partners in Europe and Latin America.

Costs

70% of travel expenses (upon presentation of the relevant documents), food and accommodation will be covered by the Youth in Action Programme. Only 30% of the travel expenses will be covered by the participants. A fee of 40 Euros will be deducted from the reimbursements.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
