This TC tries to show youth workers with no experience how to initiate video projects with youngsters. The hands-on way of learning will bring skills on a technical and practical level like -using a camera - script writing - editing - DVD authoring.

The hands-on way of learning will bring skills on a technical and practical level like -using a camera - script writing - sound and lightning - editing - authoring an DVD. Furthermore we will show best practice of the Luxembourgish network of video youth houses

The National Youth Board (Service National de la Jeunesse - SNJ) is a pillar of the youth sector in Luxembourg.
Alongside its own activities and initiatives, the SNJ supports other players in their own projects working in this field.


The SNJ Seminar Center Eisenborn, run by the SNJ is located in a small village at about 15 km from the Center of the capital. It is open for youth groups participating in the activities of the Centre or organising their own training activities. The Center is also used for conferences, seminars, symposiums, …
The video cut of the Center proposes Video workshops for young people, since 1996.

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
