A seminar for representatives of non-formal & formal education and business, engaged in creating and carrying out entrepreneurial learning of youngsters.
The main aim of the seminar is to commence, strengthen and stimulate international and cross-sectoral cooperation in the field of entrepreneurial learning of young people. The objectives are: • to explore understanding of entrepreneurship in different countries (national myths and concepts) • creating space for exchanging methodology approaches to entrepreneurial education in different fields of action (formal and non-formal education, business) – comparing similarities and differences • to identify factors and resources which are useful in undertaking initiative and entrepreneurial activities by young people • to develop educational framework for entrepreneurial learning in Youth in Action Programme and formulate recommendation for Youth in Action strategy in this context • to reflect on tools and methods to encourage, inspire and prepare young people to undertake entrepreneurial activities in the frames of the Youth in Action Programme: voluntary activities that respond to social needs, that may in the future turn into professional occupation, including self-employment • to reflect and explore Youth in Action activities/tools as catalyst for developing entrepreneurial competences of young people • to create space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences & good practices in the field of entrepreneurial learning among players in three fields: non-formal education, formal education and business • to create space for building international and cross-sectoral partnership, reflect on potential resources for future cooperation • advocate for added value of Youth Initiatives as a useful tool for stimulating entrepreneurial skills – to reflect on Youth Initiatives as a way of gaining entrepreneurial skills and its contribution to developing entrepreneurial competence • to formulate recommendation for working out the strategy for entrepreneurial learning. Training methodology: - case study - reflecting on the concept of entrepreneurial learning (more theoretical input, policy background) - sharing good practices and life stories examples – cross-sectoral collection and evaluation of good practices - master class - interactive and non-formal. There will be place for 25-30 participants who are: • engaged in creating and carrying out/practitioners of entrepreneurial education, representing one of 3 areas: - non-formal education (representatives of youth organizations, coaches, workers and volunteers of NGOs, community centres, youth-clubs, schools etc.) - business - formal education sharing the same values as Youth in Action; • able to communicate and work in English; • of age; • residents of any of the Programme Countries.

All hosting costs are covered by the Polish NA. Travel costs for the participants are covered by the respective sending National Agencies.
