European Training Calendar
expert meeting
11-14 September 2006 | Bonn, Germany
Aims and Objectives:
As a result of the expert meeting, we would like to achieve an overview of gender-related work in Europe by
- exchanging experiences on a practical and personal basis
- communicating about the differences and similarities of gender-related concepts of youth work in Europe, taking into account the impact of national or regional policies
- contributing to network building regarding gender-elated youth (in action) work
Inputs from experts in the field of gender studies will give the possibility to connect the practical experience with different aspects of the actual discourse and to develop perspectives beyond the common boarders of gender discussions.
We would also like to agree on a common strategy focused on gender-related work within YOUTH IN ACTION
- on a practical level
- on a political level
- on follow-up activities
Profile of the participants:
Active trainers, youth workers, experts, and youngsters, volunteers, who are experienced in gender-related youth work, who have run gender related youth projects.
