The main objective of the workshop is to discover a healthy way of life in the 21st century, through the Romanian traditional culture and civilization; in this regard, “healthy life” will be approached from three perspectives: food habits, communication, and social habits. The Romanian traditional culture and civilization can work as an example, as here the speedy and high-tech life is moderately embraced. Social gatherings, home-cooking, handicrafts are still part of the Romanians` lives; thus, the workshop participants can familiarise, through lectures, presentations and group activities, with these customs and can experience them while in-situ visiting.
The workshop will be based on non-formal methods of learning (e.g. posters, film watching, in-situ visits); in order to disseminate knowledge on workshop, each participant will receive one DVD and extra-material suggestive for the workshop theme.
