Expected outputs: Awareness of competences that the participants develop by volunteering. Knowledge how to get external recognition for these competences. Proposals how to transfer the acquired knowledge to the own organisation.
Programme: Day 1 Arrival. Introduction of the programme, introduction and expectations of participants and staff, reflection on own learning process, working with learning diary. Day 2 What is recognition? What is non-formal learning? Introduction of terms, background information about European programs and policies, transfer to own learning environment as volunteer Day 3 Recognition on personal level: what are my competences, how can I describe the competences, why would I like to have external recognition, how to get external recognition. Day 4 Recognition on the level of the organization: what can my organization do to support the recognition of my learning outcomes Day 5 Overview of existing tools. Evaluation and dissemination. Departure.
