We would share experiences which are going on in Spain and in other countries in Europe.This experiences, projects and initiatives are focus on build a better/future through social and young participation.
In this seminar we will have the opportunity of share good practices and how youth organizations deal with youth participation in each country. We will visit some projects in Madrid and we will also have time to discuss and debate about the differences in each country. Each participant will have the opportunity of sharing some experience of their country. Nowadays the European societies are changing deeply and continuously. In this new context, there are some experiences, projects and initiatives going on. This experiences, projects and initiatives are focus on build a better/future through social and young participation. OBJECTIVES General: We want to to analyze and visualize how Youth Work, Non-formal Education and Participation Experiences, contribute to improve the quality of life of people in the context of current crisis. Specific: 1. Exchange good practices with young people through participatory approaches 2. Provide European opportunities for young people mobility, youth associations and organizations working with young people, from the perspective of European citizenship. 3. Further discussion of solutions and proposals for work situations, social and environmental issues in relation to young people. 4. Analyze the “network thinking” ; How from different areas of action different groups are working for the local participation . 5.Analyze how youth participation dimensions (potentials and limitations) and the non-formal education methodology, serve the people. 6. Relate the youth social participation experiences with the entrepreneurship.

Costs

This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs or SALTO involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
