100 years of Dialogue in Europe: 1950 – 2050

The training course “100 years of Dialogue in Europe: 1950-2050”, organized by INCA Cataluya, will take place in Barcelona (Spain) from the 2nd to the 10th of September 2012; 20 people from Spain, Italy, Portugal, UK, Romania and Turkey can participate. This project is part of the strategic plan of the applicant for the year 2012, as well as the strategic plan of the international network INCA Network, which all promoters are members. The project is a direct consequence of the success of the training course "DO YOUth Work? Audiovisual for Social Performance" in 2011. The training is targeting young people and youth workers. Participants will create a short documentary and performative actions, in order to explore the issues of youth unemployment and fight against poverty and marginalization, priorities for the Youth in Action Programme in 2012 and for the network INCA network. The main objectives of the training course "100 Years of Dialogue in Europe: 1950-2050" focus on accompanying the participants in a reflection on the current situation of youth unemployment in Europe from an intergenerational perspective; analyzing the work situation of our parents and grandparents to recognize why it was generated the social situation we are living. Extra info: The training is based on practical work. There will be a final presentation with the community as a result of the work done and as an important learning opportunity for the participants. Partnership and Participants: We are looking for: 5 Participants from Spain 3 Participants from Italy 3 Participants from UK 3 Participants from Romania 3 Participants from Portugal 3 Participants from Turkey Selection criteria: We'll select 14 participants from theatre (street theatre, circus, clown, social theatre, etc) field and 6 from audiovisual sector. For audiovisual participants: please, give us some information about your old productions, participation in audiovisual project's production, your own technical material (photo cameras, video cameras, laptops, softwares, cables, plugs, adapters, etc.) At least 1 year of experience (professional or semi-professional). Application contents. We encourage for wide distribution through your members and afterwards we will proceed to the selection of participants by 30 June 2012. No age limit. Working languages: English, Spanish, Italian. Accommodation: The Training course will take place at colony house “Hermanos Maristes” in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona). We will sleep in rooms of 3-4 persons. Costs: 70% of the travel costs for selected participants are covered by the project, and they will be reimbursed during the project. Participants should cover on their own the remaining 30% of travel cost. Selected participants will have to pay a participation fee of 30 euro. Costs for board, accommodation and training are fully covered by the organizers.
