esc pass for young people

Good news for young people from Western Balkans: The European Solidarity Corps portal is now open for registration!

Young people coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia are now able to register on the portal in order to be able to participate in the future volunteering projects within new programme European Solidarity Corps, which is building on the previous European Voluntary Service (EVS).

How does it work?

Interested 17-30 years olds can register on  the European Solidarity Corps portal. Once registered and at least 18 years old, they can be invited to participate in projects by organisations that have access to the database of participants. These organisations can also advertise opportunities on the European Solidarity Corps portal, so that young people can apply directly for the advertised position.

Register here.

To learn more about the new programme European Solidarity Corps you are invited to explore these interactive resources: https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity/video_en

In addition to the website, there is also a mobile application (IOS, Android) that allows young people to connect and share their experience with other young people registered on the ESE portal.

Important Recommendation:

Currently there are very few volunteering projects offering placements to young people from WB, but this is expected to change for better in the near future. Nonetheless, you are invited to use the portal to search for projects and at the same time be proactive in contacting accredited volunteering organisations listed in the database, based on your interests.
