The present training course is based on a partnership-building activity called “Health in Action – youth project forum” in June 2010 in Bonn where the idea of this project was outlined. The seminar was funded through the YOUTH IN ACTION programme and coordinated by the German association “transfer e.V.” in cooperation with the Swiss National Youth Council.
Additional ideas arose from the longstanding coordination of the Swiss programme “Voilà” and the German programme GUT DRAUF – both wide-ranging programmes for wellbeing and youth health promotion carried out through SAJV and the German Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA). In this context, SAJV as well as transfer e.V. on behalf of BZgA have realised a large number of training courses for multipliers and implementation processes where youth workers were trained to integrate health promotion into their every day work and their working structures.
