If you represent Russian-Speaking Youth organizations, then in Autumn 2010 there will be a Conference for you. The conference will give you a wonderful opportunity to find out how you can make a positive impact on the Nordic Society.
Conference/assambly in Riga, Latvia 25 of November till - 01 of December 2010 The main goal of the conference is to create Union of youth organizations with russian-speaking background from Nordic and Baltic countries. Also, Empower Young People to take active part in Civil Society, Youth work and youth activities all other the Europe through the activities of this Union. 1.You will learn about Fundraizing . 2. You will learn about your possibilities and your limits within your local community. 3. You will learn about European Citizenship values and attitudes and active youth citizenship. 4. You will explore the conceptual problems and learn how you can be part of the solution. 5. You will learn project and NGO managment. We invite: Project Managers, Trainers, Youth Leaders, Youth Policy Makers, Youth Workers, Students, Politics and Decision-Makers from Different levels. You can Apply to Participate in the Conference/assambly if: • You are from 18 to 29 years old • You are able to read, write and speak freely using the Russian language (English will be +) • You live in one of the Nordic or Baltic Countries (Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) • You represent an Organization or a Youth Group. Costs

RusNord Conference will cover all of the expenses related to travel (70 % of travel expenses), materials, board and accommodation. Participation Fee: 30 €. They will be collected and concidered as first fees of organizations in the Youth Union. All of the participants will be asked to pay the participation fee. This fee will be used to partly cover the expenses of the Conference. The Conference is funded by: Nordic Children’s and Youth Committee (NORDBUK) Ministry of Education of Finland (Opetus Ministeriö) The Nordic Society funds the flights, the food and the accommodation. The society invests in you and the only thing it asks in return is commitment. Commitment is to be a strong and active Citizen, with righteous values and attitudes.
