International Inspiration- contact making seminar for professionals working with youth in care

Inclusion of all young people is a high priority in the Youth in Action Program. The beneficiaries of the programme should be all youth and youth workers. But unfortunately the opportunities often don’t reach youths in problematic situations. This is why we would like to invite those of you working directly with youth in care for a contact making seminar in Norway. At the contact making seminar you will have the chance to meet professionals from other countries working with the same target group as yourself. We hope the seminar will inspire you to work more internationally both professionally and with your youth. You will get to know the Youth in Action programme, and have time to explore new ideas and possible future projects. The working methods will be non-formal and interactive and you will get familiar with the concept of non-formal learning. The participants should be interested in international cooperation but not necessary have experience in international projects. The aims and objectives are: -To find partners for future cooperation and be inspired to work internationally. -To gain knowledge of activities supported by the Youth in Action Programme, with focus on action 1.1; youth exchange and 4.3; training and networking for youth workers. -To identify challenges and possibilities in using non-formal learning methods -To explore ideas, areas of common interests and possible future projects. Arrival June 14th by 19:00, departures 17th, after lunch.
