Training Course

19-25 October 2010 | Antalya, Türkiye

Annual Training Course for youth workers interested in European Voluntary Service (EVS) projects with Eastern Europe and Caucasus region. This year special focus will be given to cooperation with non-EU Programme countries.
TC "EastWestEVS" aims at developing competences of EVS projects coordinators and mentors in cooperation between Programme Countries and EECA region with special focus on involvement of non-EU Programme Countries (Turkey, Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland, and hopefully soon Switzerland, Croatia and Macedonia) with special focus on group EVS activities and sustainable partnership development. Programme elements: * Youth in Action Programme understanding with special focus on cooperation with EECA countries within Action 2 projects (EVS) * Specificities and technical requirements of cooperation between non-EU Programme and EECA countries * How to find partners and create quality, sustainable partnerships * How to organize good project within European Voluntary Service, partnership - rights and obligations of partners, mentoring * Presentation of participants and organisations - Organisations Fair * Future Actions Planning Participants: TC "EastWestEVS" will bring together 30 voluntary and professional youth workers, youth leaders and project coordinators working directly with youth organisations and youngsters, who are interested in setting up new EVS projects: * 10 participants from EU Programme Countries (27 EU member states) * 10 participants from non-EU Programme Countries (Turkey, Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland, and soon Switzerland, Croatia and Macedonia). * 10 participants from EECA countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine) More details: www.salto-youth.net/EastWestEVS2010

Costs

The board and lodging during the training course for all participants will be provided by organisers // Flight travel costs of participants from Eastern Europe and Caucasus will be covered fully by organisers on the basis of original tickets and invoices (EECA participants need to cover their insurance as well as Turkish visa-sticker costs) // Travel costs of participants from Programme Countries will be paid by relevant National Agency on its own principles.
