This conference is the final event of a series of actions to support active participation of young people living in suburban areas in Europe. There will be one day of inputs by keynote speech and panel discussion, followed by a "Open Space" on the issue.
The POP-Project (www.pop-project.eu): POP - Paths of Participation seeks to support the integration of young people with fewer opportunities living in suburban areas in Europe, in line with the "Youth In Action" programme’s overall priorities, which are intended to encourage participation by young people, cultural diversity, European citizenship and social integration. We developed a basic concept which brought 50 youth workers from the main participating countries (DE, AT, FI, NI) together in 24 job shadowing programmes and 2 seminars. The FINAL CONFERENCE will bring all participants together again for future planning and is additionally open to all interested youth workers independent from country origin. There will be one day of inputs through keynote speech and panel discussion, followed by a two days "Open Space" on the issue
