The seminar aims at raising the awareness of youth workers and leaders on gender equality and human rights as an integral part of their youth work through non-formal educational methods;
During the seminar we will use: non-formal educational methods, discussions, case studies, role plays and group activities. We will actively use the Compass, Gender Matters, Companion and the Education pack.

Youth and Civil Initiatives in the Rose Valley (Youth NGO)

We are an NGO from the town of Karlovo in the beautiful region of the Rose Valley in the central part of Bulgaria. Among our key priorities are: raising young people’ s awareness of the aching problems of our world, integration of socially disadvantaged and disabled people, fostering human rights, gender equality and intercultural dialogue. This we do through different initiatives such as: awareness raising campaigns, organising local events, seminars, conferences, carrying out surveys, polling citizens’ opinion on different issues, taking part in intercultural youth exchanges.

Costs

We cover 70% of the travel cost-maximum 100 % travel costs should not exceed 400 EUR. There is a participation fee of 30 EUR per participant.
