Main themes of "Unity" training course: mediation, conflict resolution and supervision combined with outdoor experiential education methods/tools
Basic concept: As a youth/social worker we work in high complexity environment in various ways: * Environment: less supportive structure (institutional, working place, co-working partners) * Clients: difficult youngsters (behavior, social background) * Results: we might face with a seemingly slow impact in our youth work * Internal: having doubts about our skills relating our youth work Training tools: outdoor experiential education restorative techniques mediation and conflict resolution techniques supervision of real cases Aims: Developing social sensitivity of underprivileged youth and youth workers amongst difficult situations Helping them develop their social and cognitive competencies Involving youth with different social back ground makes it possible to understand the concept of integration and realize the channels for knowledge sharing In the Scene Unity for 10-day training we are aiming at making a difference in our target groups’ communities in the area of these topics: Inclusion - Equity Any disadvantaged young people, whether it's because of social status, belonging to minorities, growing up in children's homes, early crime, which led to a closed institution education, with proper integration of real integration into society and fulfillment. Social Dialogues Disadvantaged young people and their peers should be able to initiate dialogues with their municipalities and the decision-making bodies to start lobbying for processes that have practical effect on standard of living and the strenght of the community Labour market issues - incl. career guidance, youth unemployment We are planning to address the youth unemployment phenomenon, in order to give tools to all disadvantaged young people and other youth workers to create greater activity and confidence Participants: Age limit: 18+ Interests: •You have work experience as a trainer / social worker / youth worker; •You'd like to know more about the topics listed in planned themes; •You are an NGO leader or participating in a management of an NGO •You wish to establish an NGO soon •You are open to share your experience and meet others interested in this topic; •You like challenges and can participate during the whole training; •You speak English at least on basic level; •Youth workers, social workers, psychologists who are working with groups of socially unprivileged youth and aim to get a new leadership tool and approach in their life and in their work.

The objective of the organization is to develop the public and personal skills and attitudes of participants by using so called "outdoor activities", and applying the methodology of experiential education (learning by doing - planning - evaluation). Our organization focuses on increasing the feeling of personal and social responsibilities, sustainable environmental education, helping the development of life-leading skills. Our organization gives the possibility to use the world of experiences as classroom, to discover and develop your hidden resources through real adventures and challenges.
