Aims & objectives

The TC is designed on three main axis:
YOUTHPASS: Definition. Youthpass and Key Competences. Youthpass in the YIA Programme Actions. Tools and resources.
STRATEGIES: Non formal learning recognition in Programme Countries. Youth On The Move. Future strategies by the European Commission.
GOOD PRACTICES: Laboratory of Good Practices by participants on successful experiences/tools related with non formal learning and youth work.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

28 participants from Belgium, Malta, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Luxembourg, Germany, and Croatia took part in the Training Course. The working language of the Training Course was English.

Training methods used & main activities

All kind of training methods for non-formal learning was used during this training course e.g.
group work, project activities, case study, open space, group discussion, presentation, use of the web application, personal consulting and mentorship, study visit, networking, intercultural exploration, free time talking.

Outcomes of the activity

-To support the development of the competencies of youth workers and youth leaders to the growing recognition of non-formal youth work
-To understand the proces of validation of non-formal and informal learning in Youth work and in YiA Programme
-To exchange practices and successful experiences in the validation and recognition of non-formal education in youth work and within YiA framework
-To understand and implement strategies aimed at European level to support validation and recognition

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Member of the training team with all responsibilities e.g. team tuning, aim and objectives design, preparation of the programme, implementation of the sessions, daily debrief and final evaluation, reporting, Youthpass process support.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
