Aims & objectives

The aim was twofold - one, to improve youth worker's public speaking abilities and, two, to show the importance and usefulness of storytelling in this kind of work. This served to improve the skills of all partner organization's workers and volunteers taking part in this training.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participants and partners were from Poland, Latvia, Romania, Greece and Macedonia.

Training methods used & main activities

Methods were mostly focused on vocal and theatrical ones. Roleplaying, debating, talking, singing. Part of them was centered around watching and analyzing the speeches made by the participants.

The training achieved an increased knowledge and skill level of the youth workers that participated in it. Those skills were then brought back to their own organizations to be shared with others.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the main trainer on the project, I took part in most workshops and activities there. From teambuilding to the main activities around vocal projection and storytelling.

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
