The Training Young Mediterranean Actors TYMA, Partnership Building Activity (PBA), 2024 aimed to strengthen intercultural cooperation, youth empowerment, and organizational partnerships among participating NGOs. It addressed the need for enhanced collaboration, project design skills, and cross-cultural understanding within youth-focused organizations. The activities, including workshops, PechaKucha sessions, concept note development, treasure hunts, and networking events, directly supported the goals of the organizations by building capacity for joint projects, fostering international collaboration, and promoting practical skills in project management and intercultural engagement.
Youth workers from Albania, Egypt, France, Tunisia, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Georgia, Lithuania, Jordan, Germany, Lebanon, and Palestine.
Non-Formal education approaches including, interactive workshops, group discussions, simulations and role-plays, peer-to-peer learning, problem-solving exercises, reflection circles, and hands-on activities. The activity encouraged participants to share experiences, collaborate in teams, practice new skills in real-life scenarios, and reflect on their learning, ensuring a participatory and learner-centered approach.
The TYMA 2024 training activity achieved strengthened intercultural cooperation, enhanced youth engagement, and improved skills in project design and partnership building among participating NGOs. The success of the training is evident from active participant involvement, collaborative project proposals, and the establishment of new international partnerships. thanks to the project success, multiple participating organizations were able to collaborate and implement projects together.
I served as the lead trainer, responsible for designing and delivering Partnership Building Activity (PBA) workshop. My responsibilities included preparing the training curriculum, facilitating sessions, coordinating the trainer team, and conducting the evaluation of the training to ensure learning objectives were met.
